Teen Killed In Single-Vehicle Western Mass Crash

A 19-year-old was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Berkshire County.

According to Pittsfield Police, the crash happened around 12:15 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the area of Government Drive when the Pittsfield resident crashed a 2017 Kawasaki, said Sgt. Marc Maddalena.

Maddalena said police believe the unidentified victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the guardrail on the east side of the roadway.

He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Maddalena said.
